A little about us

Made by hand. Lit with feeling.

Susie Lee Candles started with a little curiosity, a lot of downtime, and the simple joy of making something by hand. During the pandemic, candle making became a creative reset, a small bright spot alongside life as a D.C. photojournalist.

Now, each candle is an invitation to slow down, set a mood, and bring a little joy into your space. Some are inspired by the District we love. Others are simply here to make home feel more like you.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using a coconut wax blend and phthalate-free fragrance oils, with a cotton wick and plenty of personality.
